Block my way I'm going to quilt as I go.  I used candy on my roof also a fabric twist heart flower. So country cottage my way what do you thinks?

I love your imagination and your own little sparkles. So darling! I'm starting the applique on my second one tonight. It's all set up and ready to go. These seem to go really fast once they are all set up on the block.

gini, Thank you for sharing the sight about thread and needles. I found I had Appliquer needles by Bohin #11, from my Secret Santa 2012. They are great for small pieces!

Bigburt, Very cute and original block. I like your embroidered scallops and door handle. Love your fabrics and also your heart tree, it looks dimensional but I can't quite make out how you did that.
