i decided that i didn't want to make another block of the month depicting the months, so i am going to try and think up 12 trees for my cottages. here's the first one.

Adorable block, Gini. I like the idea of the different trees. I did that with one of the Sunbonnet Sue quilts. It is not as boring as doing the month by month thing again. You get to use your own imagination. And you will make a beautiful and original quilt. Your work is always so good!

I love what you did with your block. I learn so much from looking at your work. I never would have strayed so far from the pattern. I haven't made a block of the month before so I will be doing the months. I've got the pattern cut out , so just need to pick the fabrics.
