Thank you all for your sweet comments. I've been following for quite awhile, but haven't participated much because of the computer things, so its nice to finally become part of the group instead of just an onlooker.
Robin, I tried the spray starch method this time and although there was a lot more prep work than the needle turn that I usually do, the applique went so much quicker and the scallops came out very nice. It's a toss up which one is better, but with all the little v's in the scallop I think it was a good choice for this project.
Janet, your cottage block looks great!
I just have the snowflakes left to do on mine.
I tried that Kris and I couldn't find any place on the screen that would take the cursor
Janet,
Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a try.

Bigburt, love your cottages. Too cute. Where did you get your pattern? You did a great job on them so the Country Cottages should be easy for you.
Looking forward to seeing you Country Cottages Block 1.
Great job. Great colors. Was it a kit or did you select the fabrics? Especially like the school bus. So much work- was it needleturn or fused? Either way something to be proud of.
very cute. bigburt. if you click on the picture it comes out right side up.
Very nice Bigburt, the CC should be a snap for you. And why should you finish one before starting another? lol
The pattern is Home is where the heart is by Linda Howell and It was fussed I like to needle turn but usually don't have time. Block 1 done and its fused.
I'm back this is not like me don't really like to share my work. But I'm going to try this is another one just finished Hawaiian quilting this is all hand done. I lived on There for three years . These are rings of fish.
This is absolutely darling! Beautiful work. And yes! Why not have 2 or 3 or 12 projects going at one time, lol. That way you never get bored with them because you can switch them up. Love the Hawaiian quilt. My husband is from Hawaii and I lived there for 10 years. I did a Hawaiian quilt also. My daughter has it.
