this is a bit more purple than the picture shows. i stalled on this one, because i didn't like four of my petals and needed to take it apart and replace them. it took maybe 30 minutes, i should have done it much sooner. i hate redoing stuff. anyway, i like this block, it is straight forward, no tricks to it.
24 down and one to go. it is all cut and half sewn so it shouldn't take too long. all of the other blocks have their sashes and posts added so it won't take long to put the center together. i need to decide on how i am going to do the borders. do you remember the border i made at the smokey mountain retreat on the tiny little red quile i made? i think i am going to do something similar with this one.
