Just so Gini doesnt think ive absconded from this group, see what happens when i dont have to go to work i get a block finished, the photos not particularly good as ive had to take it in the evening with no natural light, but at least its proof that ive actually been doing something.
lots of love

Y-a-a-a-a-y -- You have a finished block! Keep up the good work, Frances.
Pretty block Frances. I like that background fabric. Nice work.
Very pretty work all of you. Question as I was in the middle of moving in Oct/Nov. What stage are you guys in on this project beginning middle or towards end of the quilt? I want to expand my appliqueing lol and this is an awesome way to do it. Also are you using fusible or hand appliqueing them?
Carey,
I think this one ends in April. Most seem to be using hand appliqué.
frances, your block is beautiful i like how you've cut your blue fabric.
hi carey. we are over halfway through these blocks and will be done in march or april, with the formal part of this pattern. there are always a couple of folks who get their blocks done pretty much on time, and a lot of stragglers. these flowers go together pretty quickly, once your fabrics are cut, you could start anytime and still be part of the group.
we will be starting a new project this spring, but we haven't decided on a pattern yet.
Thank you everyone for your kind words, now if i can get enough decent light to get the next one cut out, can only do this between about 10am to 12 noon after that the daylight is not bright enough now if it ever stops raining...............................i will get some decent light.
It's cute, Frances. Nice work! I know what you mean about having to work. It takes all the fun out of life.
