Emily, your block turned out very nice. Great colors on the petals. Cute butterfly.

Emily - simply beautiful! Did you applique the butterfly or embroider? I was actually thinking of adding some bees, dragonflies, etc to a couple of the blocks. Seeing one tells me it's a great idea!

Emily your block is so pretty.  Your flowers are so happy looking and that butterfly is beautiful, too.

Thank you so much Barbara.  You will do it wonderfully because it will be your own original!  Don't try to do it by the book - none of us do.  It will have a lot of 'Barbara' in it just like mine has a lot of 'Emily' in it.  We follow a pattern but in the end it is our own creation.

Hi Emily,

I am a Johnny-come lately to this group. I love your Johnny Jump-Up wildflower as well as all the photos of wild flowers I have seen posted.

I was wondering since you all follow a pattern for each wildflower if  there is someplace I can download them when I am ready to try my hand at applique

Thanks Emily and Gini,

I am going to give it a try after I learn how to applique.

Happy quilting or should I say appliqueing!
