Barbara, love your # 3 block, The background is cool.
Thanks, everyone, for your nice comments on my block.
Kris, I hope you feel better soon!
And as if I had too much time on my hands, here is the quilt I made for a good friend's new granddaughter. 6 months is still new, right? The ear flaps and has minke on the underside. Stitch in the ditch on the elephant and not one pucker, a first for me.

Too cute, Gini! I love elephants. The only hand sewing I Have been doing is bindings...just can't seem to wrap my head around more. But we are taking a full week of vacation this summer, so I know I'm going to need SOMETHING to do in the car. I'll have to put some thought into it. Someday, I should finish the P3 flowers. But I really lost interest in them, not being a big flower-y person.
Hmmm....I'll have to see what I can come up with that's more "me".
So, I am trying to decide what I want to work on when I go on my trips. Something easily portable...and no flowers.
I have some really cool tool fabric, which got me thinking that it would be fun to make a tool quilt. So, I am going to start hunting for some fun tool pictures. Shouldn't be too hard to find tool coloring pages. And it's right up my alley, as opposed to the flowers that are lovely, but just not me.
What do you think gals? Good idea, or totally crazy but fun?
I think your tool idea is totally fun, can't wait to see what you come up with
I am finally getting caught up on all the discussions on here - been off for awhile. I am not working on your current project right now (still working on the Country Cousins! Have the blocks done and ready to set together - so it will get finished one of these days) but have really enjoyed seeing all the blocks posted, they are all so cute and well done. Keep up the beautiful work everyone!
