Thanks Frances.
Kris-
What a beautiful block. You're work is really wonderful.
I talked to the EQ people yesterday about EQ-Stitch. He says the software is more for beginners to machine embroidery. I'm not doing any machine embroidery, all of mine is by hand. I'm still thinking about it. Let me know what you think once you've started playing with it.

Lovely block Kris.
Yes, Kris - Let us know what you think of the EQ-Stitch.
Thanks Lillie.
I bought EQ stitch so I could have something simpler to use that my Pfaff 4D suite. I haven't used my embroidery machine as much as I would like to. Having this integrated with EQ7 means I'll be more likely to use it.
I'll be playing this weekend.
Block 8
Star, I finished my UFO applique block that was due at the end of February. I was a few days late but I didn't have a broken arm!
On to Block 7. I don't know how I got them out of order LOL Oh well.

Pretty block Maggie, nice job. Can't wait to see all the blocks. I really like the dark background. I have never done any applique on a dark background. I'm thinking I will have to try a dark background on an upcoming project.
I have been working on my block again, it's slow going though. My right hand is still swollen, and the last two fingers are numb most of the time. Applique is good therapy! I think it will help recover fine motor skills faster:-) At least it couldn't hurt. I will see how much I can get done in March since I am not distracted by any other piecing or quilting right now. I just don't have the strength or range of motion for any rotary cutting, machine piecing, or quilting right now. I'm still technically broken for another two weeks. I will find out if my break is completely healed when I go back to the ortho 3/18. I hope to have recovered most of my range of motion by then so I don't have to pay for physical therapy. I would hate to waste money that could be put to better use at the quilt shop!
So, now the challenge is will I finish my block, only another 85 pieces to go, before you finish block 7? This block has so many tiny pieces! They should go fast, but my fingers are just too clumsy right now and they seem to be taking twice as long.
Okay,
Ive been really naughty, i loved this one so much when i found it that ive just been and ordered it.
lots of love
