Emily, the price seems to be a sticking point with several of the patterns for several people. I completely understand. That's why I liked the idea of a center block and the designing your own quilt around a center. That way you keep the price down to $10 or less. All of us have tons of books and patterns to pull from if you aren't into designing your own blocks. Anyone could participate.

I like the idea of designing our own quilts. I have a ton of books if that will help with ideas.
Hi everyone, I am new to this group, but I did the Spring quilt of this designer and it is intense. Beautiful but very involved.
Very Beautiful Quilt. I have no problem doing he blocks and a applique quilt but I hate having to do the borders, but that is just me. I am working on one right now have two borders done and starting the third, I may never finish it LOL.

Those pumpkin houses are cute. I love bunny hill patterns.
maggie these are really cute. we've done two bunny hill quilts here.
Hello,
I cheer you on from the sidelines. I know I would not make anything that has to do with Halloween. I'll continue to work on my fall quilt, made with flannel, and show pics as I get the applique blocks completed.
I'm still considering the cottages blocks. I think I will just make a four of them and make individual blocks and find appropriate hangers for each season. I think Nancy's Notions sells those free standing hangers. If anyone knows where the hangers are sold, please let me know.
WOO HOO!!! We have about 4-inches of snow on the ground and it's still coming down!

Gini, I was talking about the Autum quilt that one of the ladies posted a picture of last night,of course I can not find that posting still trying to figure out how to get around on this sight. I already posted this answer on another reply to you. The quilt I made was Shades of Baltimore Spring, by Stacy Michell. Anyway as I explained on the other reply to you , sorry if I am talking to much on this sight but just excited to find fellow Appliquers to talk with and do projects with. Lynn in Mo.
lynn, you're fuuny, of course you aren't talking too much. was it the fall quilt by P3 designs? some of her quilts are intense. we are just finishing her wildflowers quilt.
I'm a no on the Halloween. I'd like Mimi Dietrich or Elli Sienciewicks (sp)?

Frances,
I have the Kay MacKenzie book. I like her patterns. The book is old and might be hard to find. Amazon says they have one left. I like that "Party in the Garden" as well.
Nana: Kris:Hold on a second, the buggy barn pattern only is $120!!! That can't be right. Kris I agree. There is something wrong there. You can get the whole kit for $270.
Kris:Hold on a second, the buggy barn pattern only is $120!!! That can't be right.
I contacted The Buggy Barn. They said the pattern comes from Australia that's why it's so expensive.
