Kris I agree. There is something wrong there. You can get the whole kit for $270.
I'm just sitting on the sidelines waiting for a decision. LOL

That one is pretty. They say that the pattern has "full size blocks" to make an heirloom quilt. Not sure what "full size" is, but if 4" is 18" x 22 " I would think it would be at least 8"

jan, which one are you referring to?
gini in north idaho
Gini,
The Heaven Sent one Emily had the link for this morning.
Jan
that is a darling pattern, emily. i can't get it to copy to add to the list.
Emily: Since so many like Baltimores, here is a Baltimore hanging. The blocks are 4" but it can be enlarged, I'm sure. http://sentimentalstitches.myshopify.com/collections/digital-downloads/products/heaven-scent-miniature

so far i've counted 3 yeses on garden party, but a couple of definite noes on it.
whimsical garden is two votes
i have 5 1/2 votes on a baltimore , but they all aren't for the same baltimore.
how many of you are opposed to doing a baltimore? if we decide to make a baltimore, do you care which one it is? who all likes the halloween baltimore and are their definite noes on that one?
i cannot find an advanced appliqued quilts without flowers. sorry to the non-flower person. would you like me to look for an autumn baltimore without flowers. hmmm i think i have a book for that. it might be fun to design one, too. that might be fun, to have each of us design a block for fall. i wouldn't be that hard.
who would be interested in an autumn baltimore?
so what i'm hearing is more people would like to do a baltimore or baltimore style quilt. is that right?
I am a yes on the Baltimore. I like the one I sent (the red and green one) and designing one would be a lot of fun too - to see what we all come up with.
that sent me off on a hunt, i even forgot to post the last post up above. i started a fall baltimore. i have two blocks done. i have no idea where i got the patterns for the two blocks i've finished, but i have a picture of Autumn Bounty, by Carolyn Susac, featured in the november 1998 QNM. i used this to inspire me. must not have worked, i only got to two blocks. i will try to get a picture of the picture when i get home and see if anyone is interested in this. a lot of the patterens look like they are adapted from elly sienkiewicz patterns done in fall colors. well, duh, once i read further, they are adaptations of elly's patterns.
it was this quilt done in rich fall colors, same swag,
In reading your post again, I like the idea of an autumn Baltimore too. But I have a definite NO on the Halloween one, Whimsical Garden and Garden Party. And who is the 1/2 vote?
I have done 3 Baltimores which included 10 of the squares you have in that picture. And I will say this.....3 of those I have done are real doozies. The grapes took me one whole summer. Some of the flowers are three dimensional and I did the vase one with ruched flowers. Very painstaking. I don't think I would care to do them again. I opt for easier. I am an old lady now and would like to have a quilt done in my lifetime. And you're right, Gini. It is Elly Sienkewicz. This is my first quilt and first Baltimore.
i put them down as 1/2 votes if they were 3 or 4 down the list of likes.
I was the non flower person. but I love the halloween baltimore. please dont hold out for me...i am going to go with the houses. I am stil very much a beginner and struggling with the wildflowers.
