i just noticed i didn't have the center flower, then i remembered that i liked the swirly fabric so much i didn't want to cover it up. i really need to have a memory check done. : ) gini
Pretty block Carol. Nice work.
This is my Four Feeding Birds Block. It came out pretty good. Might change the center from light red to light blue. Think it will bring out the color of the birds more. Looking forward to the next block.
kathie, great block. here i was thinking the pink was a nice touch and you want to change it : ) why not add a teeny blue dot in the center of the pink. and speaking of dots. i just finished nana's birthday block with lots of circles. i was so frustrated that they weren't perfect. then with a brain storm, i went to our local hardware store and bought a bunch of little washers, smaller than a dime. i used them to form my circles around and they worked great, so now nana has round dots. at nine cents each they were a great bargain. until now i have been limited to sorta-perfect circles that were dime sized or larger.
Pretty block Kathie. I like your current centre but I think the blue would be nice too.
