    Trying to make a yoyo. any good site where I can see a video? when I attemp to make one, as igather the thread I get a center rosette of frayed edges. I thought the center would be smooth. thanks, Happy 4TH !

    Well here it is, my first YoYo creation. I added some sparkly paint and clear beads to the centers.

    Does anyone have suggestions on what to use YoYo's for other than a large quilt. Mostly, I am looking for small projects that are quick and easy. I have seen dolls, pillows, headbands, cutrain ties and even a book marker. Maybe there is a book of patterns someone can suggest. I have seen yoyo's...

    that would be a great way to gather yoyos and use up scraps....wish I would have thought of it. I like making scrappy quilts and quilts from the stash. I try to use at least one fabric from my stash in each quilt (but of course I always buy more for the stash) I have been quilting for about 30 years...
