  • keep a lint roller in your sewing room

    I keep a lint roller on my sewing table to clean off all those little pieces and threads that fall on my lap. I also use it on my cutting table to pick up the little pieces of fabric.

  • Sewing large curves -- turning a curve piece inside out

    If you are going to sew on a large curve, keeping your eye in front of the needle by about a ½ inch you go around more evenly. The machine just seems to feed the material.   • Back Fatigue

    Hi all, I am having trouble with my shoulders and back after sewing for a few hours. Does anyone have some tips or excerises to help? I cannot live on Tylenol all the time. I have tried getting up to press, rolling my shoulders and stretching. Help! Thanks. Alice
