    Hey Jeanine, I found out something new to me and thought that I would share. I was researching the railroad tracking on the back of the quilt and found an interesting tidbit that made perfect sense. I normally use a size 16 needle, it goes through alnost any thickness and usually makes really nice stitches...

    I'm working on a customer quilt and it is made with Batiks and a batik back. I'm getting railroad tracks periodically on the back. Not terrible but enough to make me frustrated. I know Batiks are more dense. I have tightened the tension on the top and it helped some. I am also using varigated...
