    Costgo sells the spring garden lettuce in clear plastic containers. I save these and they are the perfect size for storing fat quarters. Repurpose - recycle. Keeps them out of the land fill and keeps my fabric so happy.

  • Labelling storage

    Just saw a show today on tv showing the use of chalkboard contact paper and thought about our sewing studios, and all those boxes, clear plastic tubs etc. we use for our fabric storage. Just cut a rectangle of this awesome sticky back chalkboard, write your title on label, and best yet- it is re-positionable...

  • Printer Paper Box Top - Great for organizing and storing work in progress!

    I work in an office and I have found that the removalable box top from a case of paper is great for arranging block segments, finished blocks, strips, etc. The box top measures 12x18" and is 3" deep.     February Newsletter Tip Winner: I'm not sure how "creative" my tip is for this post, but the best way for me to get a project finalized or work completed is for me to be completely and totally organized - which of course, takes time! I would say the best gift a quilter can give him or herself...
