Happy Friday to all...it's a beautiful day here in Calgary. Windy, but so sunny and blue skies. Have you ever felt your body was aching after a long day/week of quilting? Well, if you have, I think I have found the best solution. You can read all about it at http://www.kimhansonquilts.com/blog/ ...

Hi Nana. I live in PA so a retreat in the SE would be nice. I think the mountains would be better for the summer-cooler and the coast better for the spring/fall-warmer. I have lived by the ocean and high in the hills, anywhere is beautiful. I have never been to a retreat and don't know what to expect...

I am making a wall hanging from a picture my grandson made with construction paper. I would appreciate any feed back on the quilting-it is hard to see on greens although the dark green has a lot of squiggly lines to represent roots and worms under the ground. This is an amazing video of a woman who has been blind from birth and quilts. She sews the pieces together and even appliques. She does have a helper who helps her with deciding on quilt patterns and colors. She has made over 500 quilts! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lfaSmDxVZQ
