  • The Blind Quilter

This is an amazing video of a woman who has been blind from birth and quilts. She sews the pieces together and even appliques. She does have a helper who helps her with deciding on quilt patterns and colors. She has made over 500 quilts! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lfaSmDxVZQ

  • Quilt as you go

I heard somewhere that you can make quilt squares and quilt them as you go. I'm new to quilting and would like to know the details of how you do this, and how do you sew the pre-quilted squares together without having any raw edges showing. If anyone can help me out with this, I'd surely appreciate...

  • Re: Has anyone made the Garden Quilt by Eleanor Burns?

Nana I have so many wonderful memories of that song. My Mother used to play it on the piano. Her life was cut short from ovarian cancer at age 50. I feel lucky to have had her for 27 years. I wish she could be here. She so loved flowers. The flower quilt reminds me of my Mother. It's funny how 23...
