  • Keeping your Quilt Block in the Order you want them.

    I don't know about you but once I have finished with all my blocks and have them in the order I want them in on my quilt wall, I have a heck of a time keeping them in that order when I need to sew. So instead of the little round labels or post-its that everyone else likes to use I use the photo/scrapbook...

    Just saw a show today on tv showing the use of chalkboard contact paper and thought about our sewing studios, and all those boxes, clear plastic tubs etc. we use for our fabric storage.   • Quilt books in 3-ring binders

    I doubt if this is a new tip. When I get a new quilt book, such as "Inspired by Tradition" book of appliques, I take it down to our local print and copy shop. They slice the spine and punch in three-hole. I put it in a 3 ring binder with a clear cover. That way I can remove a page, or pattern...
