• Re: It's Time for MQ V!

Calling it, Stay Gold... this is the biggest quilt I've ever made and my first mystery quilt. It's been such a fun experience doing this along side everyone else. I've loved seeing all the different outcomes. What a bunch of crazy quilt arteeests we are! I'm so glad my friend Penny suggested...
Lee thanks for all your questions about Bonnie's BOM, it helped me as well. As for thread I use grays from light to dark and tans from light to dark depending on the tones in my quilt.
So you will be doing a Mystery Quilt for the 1st time as well? I've...

  • Re: Bonnie Hunter's newest mystery quilt

Kris - I read the whole thing and am still unsure what it is all about? She shows all those fabrics she will use in reds and blues, etc. I don't have a stash like that. She doesn't say what the phone book is for, either. Is there somewhere I can see what was done for the last mystery quilt? Maybe...
That is beautiful Carol. I think I might hop on board for this one. I tried sending my email so that I could get notified when the steps are posted but did something wrong and it didn't go through so I'll have to make a note and stick it on my computer screen to...

  • Re: Bonnie Hunter's newest mystery quilt
I've done 4 of Bonnie's mystery quilts and they are a lot of fun. If you have lots of scraps, here's a chance to use oodles of them! This year's quilt is relatively small for Bonnie - the last two have been near/at king size. I think what I enjoyed...

Okay you talked me into it, I know absolutely nothing about what you all are talking about, except we will be makeing a mystery quilt. So someone will have to inform me with all the instructions, other that I need a jelly roll (that is a roll of 2 1/2 " strips usually at least 44" long , if...

  • It's Time for MQ V!

I can't believe it's time for MQV already. Where did the summer go? The fabric requirements will be posted in a couple of weeks, but I wanted to give you an early "tip" in case you are visiting any quilt shops over the upcoming long week-end. This pattern is perfect for jelly rolls...
