I absolutely love F&P quilting gloves! I think you were looking at the wrong ones at JoAnn's. The only downside to the gloves is they don't last long...maybe a year or so before they start getting holes in the tips. (But I do a lot of quilting.) I have also purchased the more expensive ones...
