• Re: Did You Work on a Quilt Today? #9

Judy, thanks for telling me to delete my browsing history seems to be working now, except for making multiple posts to the LUS group. It's making me wait an hour in between posts, which is annoying. I've started posting the 4/8 assignments, because I figure it will take me until Tuesday...

This is Cranberry Salad. I gave it to my animal rescue to acution last Saturday. I need to find out how much it went for. It's made from Tonga Treat fabrics. I found I had two sets when I went through my stash while on vacation. I have two baby quilts I'm making with the second set. They're...

  • Quilt for a foster child

Thanks, Carolyn, for your blocks. Take a look at the quilt we just sent off to Samantha! She's a foster teen in Rhode Island who just lost her mother. Our message? You are not alone. We'll be starting a new project shortly for another foster child. Watch for my post.

Richard your tree skirt is gorgeous! I have been wanting to make one for our house but have had the courage and know there is no way it would look as good as yours! Did you purchase that pattern or make it yourself? I am working on a triple Irish chain for a wedding at the end of the month. Leave it...

  • Re: It's Time for MQ V!

I've been looking through my magazines at the Christmas wall hangings. I made one last year for our motorhome. It was one of those last minute panels and I added some borders and then quilted around it. It really did turn out cute and the kids did like it, so that is important. I started to cut some...

I finished up the top for the pinwheels
MM, I loved this one as well. I'm going to make the one with the white background and white in the pinwheel block (maybe off white). I really liked the look of that one.
Thank...

  • long arm quilting

I am making a wall hanging from a picture my grandson made with construction paper. I would appreciate any feed back on the quilting-it is hard to see on greens although the dark green has a lot of squiggly lines to represent roots and worms under the ground. It appears the pictures got reversed. Oh...
Didn't work on a quilt today but did get to go over to my friend's house and get four more big bags of fabric. Finally got all the shorts finished and turned them in on Monday. Brought some of the little dresses home to sew. The Brazil trip got cancelled...

Thank you Angele... I did work on a quilt today and finished piecing it. Seneca Falls from PWSC, only one more to go, I still need to layer, baste and quilt the last three, but then that is what Lizzie is for... Today would have been perfect day to get into the sewing room with the door open, it was...
