I agree with Jeanine. I love to share what I am learning with others although I don't spend enough time at classes and projects at the quilt shop. I do believe you are very fortunate to be very creative. I personally need panto's and designs to put together. I don't have a great imagination...

I have done one panto on a quilt and I loved doing it. I am not sure at all how to do a border with corners. The panto is marked but I would have to play with it on practice material to learn how to do a corner. I practice most everything I do for days before I do so I get it down and don't mess...

Granny M - I don't recall what machine you have but on my APQS, there is a spot to put the laser on the front of the machine. Like another arm that sticks out where you can attach it. Also, depending on how yours is attached, it might work on the top spool holder if you have one.

  • prices for sending quilt to LAQ

Hello my little quilting buddies, I am here at work during a quiet moment, and thought of this question while pondering my next quilting project. (I know I should be doing real work, but like I said, it's a quiet morning.) My question is, how much does it actually run to have a single size quilt...

Elizabeth and Judy Lee, Isn't that the worst! I have had this happen twice. I do alot of quilting for a friend and she has heard me say "make sure you have enough batting and backing" more than once. Anyway, she brought a quilt, and because she knows, I didn't chk her backing. My fault...

I have a long arm system and I would gladly load and baste anyone's quilt for just $15.00. Any takers out there? I use either regular cotton thread at 6 stitches per inch or dissolving thread. The dissolving thread will disappear in warm water (usually in your tub) after you have finished your quilt...

Hi - I have an APQS Millenium that was used and purchased directly from APQS. I really think I got a good deal as it was factory refurbished before coming to me and that made me feel better about buying something more affordable, but used. You may want to contact them directly as they do offer used machines...
