  • Surge Protector & Iron

    Is it safe to plug an iron into a surge protector? The reason I ask is because all of my outlets are only approx. 1ft high up on all walls in my studio-to-be. I plan to set up a flat file system for my design boards under my pressing station.

    Thanks Judy, You are onto something. Let me take a look in the supermarket to see what they sell. I think my mom bought an inexpensive iron there years ago. It seemed to last forever, but that might be asking too much these days. JoAnn

  • Irons

    Hello, Can anyone recommend a small reliable light-weight iron? My wonderful little Rowena started leaking a month ago. Yesterday, it shorted out. This happened to a friend with the same iron, so I am reluctant to get another Rowena. It served me well for three years. Help!
