    My SIL sent this little wall hanging for me to quilt. The bottom was just the black so I added a sidewalk and I stitched a cross on the church. I thought the door was a little large so I was going to split the door and add door knobs. Got to thinking she might have something else in store for that door...

    Warm up with a sample using the same fabric/batting combo as in the project. Drop the feed dogs or lower the stitch length to zero to slow down the motion of the feed dogs. Use a free motion/spring foot so it will not press against the top side. Tighten the top tension a bit, to help avoid getting loops...
