  • Wrinkle Releaser

While long arm quilting, there are times when the batting or quilt top becomes wrinkled from being rolled. I spray them with a little wrinkle re-leaser and smooth out the wrinkles before quilting to avoid the wrinkles from being quilted into the quilt. The product also reduces static electricity that...

  • Tip: Use fabric panels to practice machine quilting.

I have a tip for you. Use assorted size leftover fabric panels to practice machine quilting and then use them for gifts such as pillows, wallhangings & quilts for a quick & easy gift to let someone know your thinking of them. Kathy

  • Re: Newbie from Sacramento area

I think I know where my manual is, but I'm curious why I would want to use a darning foot for free motion quilting. What is the advantage of a darning foot over my regular foot? thanks, Lisa

  • Free Motion Quilting

I was looking at some of the beautiful quilts in the gallery, and I was wondering how to get the machine stitching so there is that little space between the stitches. Mine all seem to run together. Cassie

  • long arm quilting

I am making a wall hanging from a picture my grandson made with construction paper. I would appreciate any feed back on the quilting-it is hard to see on greens although the dark green has a lot of squiggly lines to represent roots and worms under the ground. It appears the pictures got reversed. Oh...

  • Re: Quilting a panel quilt

The quilting may be enough, but you can add detailing by using motion in the quilting. In the sun add some rays going out and maybe a cloud or two in the sky. The border could use some swirls to bring it to life. If you want to add more detail meaning adding more to the quilt itself, how about a small...
