I just joined this club, hoping to share in this fun new mess I've gotten myself into. I've been quilting for 5 years now. I've quit my day job, stay up way too late, and wake up way too early with new ideas jumping out of my head. I find it hard to get motivated to do any cleaning, wash...

Leah Day is starting a Free Motion Quilt Along on her website. The first instruction set breaks down stippling really well and makes me feel like I can do it! There's a video as well as written instructions. Here's the link: http://www.freemotionquilting.blogspot.com/2012/01/quilt-along-1-lets...

I agree and think that they should have more lessons or a show on how to quilt with a regular machine. I don't know ANYONE who can afford the long arm machine. I also would prefer if they showed different ways to stitch, as I prefer stitch in the ditch but others prefer the free motion quilting....
