  • Quilting frame question

    Hi! I was given this frame from a friend's grandmother who passed away. She told me it was a quilting frame, but I have no idea how to use this. The attached piece at the bottom of the frame is on springs. Any ideas? Thank you!

  • long arm quilting

    I am making a wall hanging from a picture my grandson made with construction paper. I would appreciate any feed back on the quilting-it is hard to see on greens although the dark green has a lot of squiggly lines to represent roots and worms under the ground.     I use a fu;ll size frame to do my needle and thread basting, or when I do a tied quilt. I posted a picture couple days ago when I was basting for a hand quilting project. Now where did I post that picture? Cheryl, if you're close enough to come over, we'll have a basting party!
