Hi, I'm usually the one that reads a lot of the posts but hardly ever contributes something myself, but tonight I'm at a loss. I have created a new table runner using the Seminole Table Runner pattern. When I lay the runner out flat, the edges pucker. The center of the runner is fine; it's...

My backing fabric is printed with an assortment of 3 inch squares. I'm thinking I should cut the fabric to look square to the print but it will be off on the grain. What would you do?

I purchased some "Quilters Solid White" fabric to make some small table cloths. I always prewash and starch the fabric before using the them. For this project I purchased 9 yards and thought it would be too much for the washing machine at one time, so I cut a piece that was 74 inches long....

When I came in I asked the Manager (who...

I am working on a quilt for my DH from the book published by House of White Birches. The book is United States Quilt Block Collection. I am hoping to have this complete for him by Christmas of this year, but that will all depend upon the help that I can get from my quilting friends on QCA. I really want...

I worked and worked and worked on piecing a back for a long quilt. First the material wasn't square so off to the store for more fabric-this was yesterday. Then I find the muslin didn't match, but I had enough if I did 3 pieces. Got it done and the seams faced opposite each other. So out comes...

You might try the color catcher sheets put out by Clorox, I think. The box says Color Catcher Sheets. They do work. If the color has set, you might use OXI Clean in a tub of warm water. Put the OXI Clean in with the water and mix before you put the quilt in. Let the quilt soak for up to 24 hrs. Check...
