Costgo sells the spring garden lettuce in clear plastic containers. I save these and they are the perfect size for storing fat quarters. Repurpose - recycle. Keeps them out of the land fill and keeps my fabric so happy.

I cut acid-free mat board into 6 x 12 (approx) rectangles and simply wrap fabric (1/2 yard cuts and larger) around the bolts. To hold the fabric on the "bolt" I simply snap a rubber band around the top and bottom. Then, I store them on closet shelves by color...so easy to find what I am looking...
