    Hi Nana. I live in PA so a retreat in the SE would be nice. I think the mountains would be better for the summer-cooler and the coast better for the spring/fall-warmer. I have lived by the ocean and high in the hills, anywhere is beautiful. I have never been to a retreat and don't know what to expect...

  • long arm quilting

    I am making a wall hanging from a picture my grandson made with construction paper. I would appreciate any feed back on the quilting-it is hard to see on greens although the dark green has a lot of squiggly lines to represent roots and worms under the ground. It appears the pictures got reversed. Oh...

    Anita, Kathy's advice is good. You can also find all sorts of info on Maria peagler's site. She has written the best book on color I've seen. And has lots of material on her site. DON'T BE AFRAID of color! And do ask for help at the quilt shop. ~Jodie
