    I want to thank you very much for the video, I found it very helpful. I have an old quilt that my Mother had made back in the 70's and the binding look just like the quilt in the video. I wanted to repair the binding. I'll try this. Thanks again.

  • Beginner obtuse angle question (binding)

    Hmmm, I can't upload a picture of my table runner because the file is too large and I don't have time to install a new program tonight. It's nearly 7 PM and I haven't even thought about cooking dinner. Funny, but I get into the sewing room and start to practice my skills and SUDDENLY...

    I'm doing the happy dance, I used Sharon Shamber's Binding the Angel to join the binding on Maggie's quilt and wow does it work slick. It usually takes me many tries and lots of naughty words to get the ends joined but not this time, it is VERY cool!!!!! I think I posted the link before but...

    to do the end of the binding - take both pieces - fold them back where they meet - crease them really well... then open up - put one piece straight out from left of needle to needle - take other piece and lay over it from bottom to top - match up those crosses... the one that you had creased to begin...
