Judy, thanks for telling me to delete my browsing history seems to be working now, except for making multiple posts to the LUS group. It's making me wait an hour in between posts, which is annoying. I've started posting the 4/8 assignments, because I figure it will take me until Tuesday...

Here is the second quilt with the jungle prints. I started it at 9:00pm last night thinking I would just get it cut out but ended up staying up until it was done around 1:00 am. At least it is done. I have 3 quilts I have to get quilted before I can quilt these two but it is a relief in my mind to know...

  • Re: Longarmers Share

I have a long arm system and I would gladly load and baste anyone's quilt for just $15.00. Any takers out there? I use either regular cotton thread at 6 stitches per inch or dissolving thread. The dissolving thread will disappear in warm water (usually in your tub) after you have finished your quilt...

Robyn, My very 1st quilt "LOVE IN BLUE" was a 9 patch lap lap (a full size quilt, quilted in my lap, block by block) as taught by Georgia Bonesteel. I watched her show on GPB for a long time, finally had to try my hand. Took my sandwiches everywhere, on planes, in trucks, to visit friends and...

  • Re: Needing Advice on Baby Quilt...

Lauried26, My first baby quilt was made with a rail fence-- 3 different fabric strips 2-1/2 in wide sewn together then cut into rectangle. They surrounded the center motif panel and was a smash. Plus it was EASY!!!!
