I love to do the swirls with loops and hearts on baby quilts. This design seems to give enough density that it will hold up for decades and looks adorable and suitable for baby!

Lauried26, My first baby quilt was made with a rail fence-- 3 different fabric strips 2-1/2 in wide sewn together then cut into rectangle. They surrounded the center motif panel and was a smash. Plus it was EASY!!!!
