  • Re: What are you up to today! #2

I can't say that I do much traditional applique, and I really 99% sew by machine, but it makes me happy, so hey, why not? I did include one more item with silk on my new blog. It is much more of an art piece and it's from the cutest little book :)

  • Hand Applique questions

I need advice from quilters who hand applique. I am currently working on a quilted door that is surrounded by bricks. • Re: Stencils for Pounce Pad

Hi Sharon, Glad to help! I like to be thrifty where I can. I buy the best rulers and such but the everyday little things can save you enough to buy another one of the best items. • Re: advice on stiletto

Sally, Since you say you're ready for the next step up, go for the stilletto. I've never regretted it and I find I use it for more and more other things. I personally prefer it over a seam ripper, because the seam ripper does tend to poke thru the fabric when I don't want it to do so. There...

  • Applique question

Is there a way to remove an applique after ironing it? I used Steam a Seam and already tried re-ironing it but it did not come off.
