    Sally, Since you say you're ready for the next step up, go for the stilletto. I've never regretted it and I find I use it for more and more other things. I personally prefer it over a seam ripper, because the seam ripper does tend to poke thru the fabric when I don't want it to do so. There...

    Is there a way to remove an applique after ironing it? I used Steam a Seam and already tried re-ironing it but it did not come off.

    I am looking for machine embroidery icons related to the state of West Virginia and WVU to incorporate into a quit. Does anyone know where I might find these?     I am also a glutton for punishment but hand applique is the only thing that I do. I find it very relaxing andI have a better control of my stitches than with a macine, but they certainly are both beautiful when finished

    I have tried several different styles since I started the Dear Jane quilt and now the BOM with the applique group. And I still find myself going back to needle turn. I like Ami Simm's invisible applique with the ladder stitch if you have a large shape to applique and if it doesn't have a lot...
