    I can't say that I do much traditional applique, and I really 99% sew by machine, but it makes me happy, so hey, why not? I did include one more item with silk on my new blog. It is much more of an art piece and it's from the cutest little book :)

    When tracing your applique pieces on freezer paper, copy them right side up. Instead of ironing them on, glue them with some temporary adhesize then cut out without seam allowance.
