Yep -- I finished the borders on our Mesa Verde "Ugly Fabric Block Quilt" Our group was given the fabric back in January and asked to make a 12 1/2 block using the "Ugly Fabric" and other fabric's of their choice. We had 22 fat quarters the girls shared and we ended up with 30...

Yesterday I did work on a block for our Ugly Fabric Challenge. We needed three more blocks to make the 30. So three of us took enough fabric to make them for next Thursday. I had to borrow a machine and it took me awhile and a few false starts, but finally managed. Today I'll go back to the MQ 2...

Goodness gracious, you all did fabulous job turning your uglies into great quilts! It was really difficult to choose. I decided that the best use of the ugly needed to be the criteria. Jeanine-- Well, I have to say you've done a great job of making lemonade from that lemon of a fabric! Actually, I didn't think it was such an ugly fabric in the first place, but it was your ugly and you've made it look beautiful!

Joni, in this thread, look at the last post on p.4 - the link to the rules is there. Thea put it in a new thread so it's by itself. I had to use search to find it as it didn't pop up on it's own.

Hi All-- The posts and pictures on this thread have been so entertaining. I still don't think that that many of the fabrics are really ugly, but then I love paisley (that seems to be a minority opinion here LOL) so maybe I just have quirky taste in fabric, huh? Anyhow, I'm looking forward to...
