Here it is!! This is MQ 6. I worked on it from start to finish without working on anything else. It is also the first big quilt that I have home machine quilted. I used my new Janome 1600p-DBX. I love it.

Ok... I took a couple closeups of my quilt top this morning before work since it was brighter in the house with the sun out. This shows the detail of the fabrics a lot better than the pictures I posted last night when it was dark in the house. The first picture shows the jelly roll before it was cut...

Phew, finally finished with step two. Now just to finish up the hst into hourglasses. I was busy at my local quilt shop all morning and errands all afternoon. Then sewing machine all evening. I haven't read the blog for a day, NOTE TO SELF...don't miss a day on the blog. It's too much fun...
