• Re: It's Time for MQ V!

My finished Mystery Quilt! I am so excited. I am so thrilled with how this turned out. The photo does not do it justice. The fabrics are definitely me, very classic. I've thought about changing my QCA name to Classic Lady. I love the purple. I learned something through doing this. I just went into...
Well, here are steps 3,4,5 together. It sure is going to be a busy quilt. I wonder if I can still find any more of this fabric to repeat it in the border to avoid bringing in any other colors or patterns.
Nancy, really like your colors ~~ (where did I get this...

Have never done a quilt like this before but I think it actually helped to choose my fabric just on instructions rather than looking at a finished...
So fun to read these posts! I know my first MQ was full of excitement and apprehension about fabrics. The surprize of the Mystery quilt is such that no one knows how anything will look . It's a secret. LOL. You can't plan for this. That's the beauty of it...

I'm in for this one. I have enough fat quarters to cut 3 strips 2.5" x 22" from each one. Will this be enough? JoAnn T. from New Jersey
Most of them have 42
Do the new quilters realize they could cut their own strips? Not have to purchase a jelly roll, just make your own with some of that stash we all have! That's why I like Mysteries, to use up some of the stash I have already! I assume...
