    Leslie, put me down as another one who likes your monkey quilt, so cute! The quilt I worked on today was Bonnie Hunter's "Out On a String" Got it all together, changed the layout a little, I'd rather not have my quilts square, so added another row and more sashings. I really like string...

    Hi Margaret! Yes, it's the same pattern, and yes, it does call for 5 strips etc... So...thanks that's what I'll do, change things as you suggested. By the way, what do you think of the pattern for a bed quilt? I already figure you must think I'm nuts for tackling the project as a novice...

    Well I started quilting a quilt and lo and behold I ran out of thread. Now I have to wait until tomorrow, so I can buy more :(

    I worked on a quilt until late last night when I ran out of fabric. Actually, I have fabric but I decided I didn’t like it with my blocks so I have to go to town on Tues to find something more to my liking. Town is 55 miles from here so I make a day trip out of it. I have the fabric and patterns...
