    Hello Everyone! I am new to this group, but I started quilting back in 1970's. It was not popular then and I only had a yardsitck and a pencil and a scissors, but somehow I managed. Quilt patterns were difficult to find and had to be drawn from scratch unless found in the back of the clothing patternbooks...

    I thought I finished stitching this block about an hour ago. Poor lighting for photo, but here is Adam and Eve. Then I noticed I still have to embroider the eyes and tongue on the snake. This quilt block will be part of my Bible quilt and it will also go into my book, The Creation .
