Thanks, Linda. The quilt is my own design. I would like to publish the pattern if I can find the time to write it all out. I'm afraid my first priority has to be getting the children's Bible storybooks and coloring books out. I think I'm wearing too many hats. :-)

I have nearly completed my first Bible quilt, The Creation. This picture shows it displayed at an outdoor book signing I attended last Saturday. I still have to use a hoop to hand quilt inside the hexagon blocks, and I may add a few more rows of machine stitching in the border. I am also trying to encourage...

My Creation Bible Quilt top is stitched, stretched and pinned. At the moment it is still stuck down to the table with tape that hasn't held very tightly. I hope to enter this quilt in competitions in the future and don't want to do something foolish in the way I approach the final quilting. I...

When I started learning to do hand applique quilt blocks I was encouraged to make them with 1" seams. The person who recommended this to me knew little or nothing about my skills to do this and was worried that I would have many pieced highly puckered and would need the extra margin of safety. I...

I plan to use it when I get speaking engagements about my book and about making Bible quilts. When I purchased the fabric I wanted for my sashing I had second thoughts and purchased two additional...

I am selecting fabrics to use for the sashing and border to make a Creation Bible Quilt. The hand appliquéd quilt blocks are finally completed. Do these colors and textures work OK? This picture was put together on my computer with downloaded fabric files. Since the downloaded files are made from...

I am so excited to learn of your quilted stained glass window approach. Are you planning to make them to sell them, or is this your personal ministry? I use the hexagon/honeycomb with my pictures to emphasize that God's Word is sweeter than honey from the comb. Honeycomb Adventures Press, LLC is...

I added one more Bible quilt to my gallery. This one is not appliquéd quilting. My grandchildren helped to color the pictures. I'm still struggling with getting it quilted. I started to do that with my sewing machine and it broke. Now a friend with a long-arm sewing machine has it, but I'm...
