  • Patriots In Petticoats Block of the Month: Do your blocks measure up?

    Has anyone else had problems with the Patriots in Petticoat directions? I have found that if you adhere to a1/4" seam rule that some blocks will not measure even close to a 10" finished (or 10 1/2" unfinished) block. I have tried graphing the blocks out on graph paper so I could measure...

    Yes,Kris "Ladies of the Seas" is very applique' intense, but I found a fabulous secret. I trace all the pieces on to freezer paper, then I use glue stick to fold the seams under before stitching them on the foundation block. It is "Easy Breezy"! I've become the "Sharp...

I worked on the BOM today - got the new corner pinwheels blocks done; I had already sewn on the hourglass blocks, leaving the ends free so I could add the corners when they came out.
