I'm looking for an antique quilting pattern called Sugarloaf. It consists of one-pieced pyramid and one solid pyramid alternated. It was shown on Fons and Porter episode 1307 as a quilt that Liz had purchased. Any help on finding this pattern would be appreciated. bonnielee

My mother-in law has given me some quilt tops made by her mother. They have not been quilted. They were made some time ago, hand stitched using what looks like #10 embroidery thread. I have about 50-70 antique handkerchiefs/hankies that belonged to my Mother, Grandmother and Aunt and I would LOVE to make a quilt with them. I have seen a basic pattern for handkerchief quilts, but it required cutting the handkerchiefs - I COULD NEVER DO THAT! Any ideas/suggestions?

Hi Jo Ann, This is my first post. While I do quilt year round, I especially enjoy the fall. Here in the heart of Texas, fall arrives kind of late compared to other parts of the country, but as soon as it turns September, my thoughts naturally turn to the upcoming holidays, and I begin to get excited...

Althea, I have an idea, not a promise, since I am only part of the decision-making team, but... On Quilt Out Loud Mark & I are going to do an "Ask Mark & Jodie" segment for each episode. This is a great question for it. What we'd really, really like to do is get you on video asking...
