  • Re: Longarmers Share

I have a long arm system and I would gladly load and baste anyone's quilt for just $15.00. Any takers out there? I use either regular cotton thread at 6 stitches per inch or dissolving thread. The dissolving thread will disappear in warm water (usually in your tub) after you have finished your quilt...

I really like the way my quilts look when they are washed after quilting. It gives it more of an antique look. The other thing...

It appears the pictures got reversed. Oh...

Well once again I am posting another picture. This time it is my Don't Fence Me In. This quilt is the one I have been talking about in previous wrirtings. It will be entered in the 2011 Putnam County Fair in March and with a little luck I am hoping for Best of Show this year. I've won everything...

  • Re: QCA Member Tip Contest - Post Your Entries Here

February Newsletter Tip Winner: I'm not sure how "creative" my tip is for this post, but the best way for me to get a project finalized or work completed is for me to be completely and totally organized - which of course, takes time! I would say the best gift a quilter can give him or herself...

Richard - 7500 yards of fabric? That's unbelievable. Perhaps you should just open your own quilt shop. Post some photos of all that fabric and starting selling! Good luck on your sewing room "re-org"! Kim
