  • Need some expert opinions

    These are the blocks I have finished for my "Star Sampler". Now I need some opinions/advice. Should I sash them, and if so, what do you think would be a good color choice for the sashing and borders? Also, how would you arrange them? I've tried a couplde different ways, but just cannot...

    When I first started quilting I prewashed too...but not anymore! I found that its easier to cut, piece and quilt fabric before its washed. After I finish the quilt, I was it. I really like the way my quilts look when they are washed after quilting.It gives it more of an antique look. The other thing...

    Well once again I am posting another picture. This time it is my Don't Fence Me In. This quilt is the one I have been talking about in previous wrirtings. It will be entered in the 2011 Putnam County Fair in March and with a little luck I am hoping for Best of Show this year. I've won everything...

    Richard - 7500 yards of fabric? That's unbelievable. Perhaps you should just open your own quilt shop. Post some photos of all that fabric and starting selling! Good luck on your sewing room "re-org"! Kim
