yes - now even I won't forget how to make them.  I can just visit QCA when I get stuck.  :o)

This is the way I always make my pillowcases.  So quick and easy!  It was called the Magic Pillowcase I think when I learned it.

I agree with Jeanine. So fast and easy - and all of the seam allowances are covered!! Perfect for the "presentation case" that we use when we give a Quilt of Valor to a wounded soldier.

Well done!  This is the exact process we use to make the pillowcases for our Cactus Sew-ables Quilt Guild hospice and seniors outreach projects here in Yucca Valley, Ca.

These are the best instructions I have found!  I could never figure out what the others were saying but you provided simple instructions and great pictures.  I have now made 6 Christmas pillowcases and plan to make more.

Marge - this is a great tutorial. I finally got around to making one last night. It took about 30 min, now that is my kind of project!

I have made pellow cases before but the Hot Dog method would make the cases look more professional. Thank you.

Sorry Joni, forgot about pics. This quilt is made from a panel of dubious quality that dil got at JoAnn's. Thie quilt and pillowcase are flannel. I have decided I do not like working on flannel, LOL.

The animals on the panel are felt and apparently stretched out when washed. I quilted around them, but did not quilt on them. I am wondering if I should try now or just leave it alone. Any advice?

I wouldn't quilt on them as it would mess up their little faces.  :o(

I can hardly wait to try this...what a great tutorial.  Thanks so much, I'll let you know if I still think it's a great tutorial when I try to make it(lol)

Great idea, thanks for taking the time to set up the tutorial.
