I was at our local Quilt Museum on Wed. with friends and found the cutest quilting card someone made up to sell as a fund raiser for the museum.
On front of card was a piece of a measuring tape
Poem was by Anonymous
"Give a quilter an inch and she thinks she's a ruler"
I just thought this was cute and of course had to buy one. I'm sure my quilting friends will love this card when I enclose it in their Christmas gifts which of course is a thread catcher from the museum also. They have new shows every three months during year and lots of gifts to purchase in the gift room.
So many talented crafters and YES! of course I buy items like this to support the museum and get ahead on my Christmas shopping for my quilting buddies.
I'm a Fabri-holic and I have many material witnesses to prove it
That sounds really neat. Can you post a pic?
Oh that sounds so cute! I have some cards with quilts on the front of them and beautiful sayings for each but have never used them - I just look at them...teehee... I had thought this year I might use my embroidery machine and make quilty cards for the family - but I like that little card you found..
It always amazes me how many talented and crafty people that are in our world. Thank you so much for sharing this tidbit... have a warm quilty day - and many quilty hugz coming your way!
