Trying to use up a bunch of jelly strips etc left from another project, so making random 12in blocks using pp. For some reason today, my pieces don't line up, sections don't go together well etc. So I'm rehashing my techniques & practices - must be taking a shortcut somewhere! 😳

I'm not as good on paper piecing since I don't do it all the time. When I do it, I have found that it takes me several tries at it to get me back up to speed. Good luck with your project!

I've taken a weekend break because I was getting worse instead of better! Must have been getting cheeky thinking I had that skill down pat! Lol

Tackled the PP project again today - finally threw out the first half of a block - tearing out is a nightmare!  Went back to basics using my Carol Doak Mariner's Compass book as a step by step reference. Oh boy, I had taken a few short cuts when I started this block!!! What was I thinking???? Back on track now, but a project that I was going to call my "stash basher" might be renamed to my "brain buster"! lol
