I bet one of these would come in handy, especially if/when..."OUTCH!!!" I just step on a needle! Oh look there are some more scattered from one station to another. Well, I could pick them up one-at-a-time not to mention trying-to-find-them-in-the-carpet then only have two minutes to quilt before going to bed. Or, I could go purchase a magnetic sweeper & pick the needles & pins up in less amount of time then have five hours to quilt!!

Thanks Rhenious. I'm going past Home Depot today and will check it out. The one for $9.95 has very good reviews and our store has them in stock.

Sure there are magnetic pincushions to help find those pins & needles but you still have to get down on your knees when looking for them on the floor & don't cover as much ground as quickly. While getting down and/or back up you just might end up with a little or a lot of pain somewhere in your body. Nobody can say for sure how long that pain will last.
