My husband made a bigger playpen in 2006 and I needed a bigger carpet for in the playpen. Than I've read a article about patchwork and quilting and I decided to make one. Now I've made 4 quilts and I'm working on a hand-made quilt.

Welcome Loes. Your daughter Nina is very beautiful. I tried to view her video but it says that it is private. Enjoy QCA and good luck with your hand quilting.

Welcom to QCA Loes. This is a great group of people who are very supportive and helpful. One of my sons played soccer in The Netherlands when he was in high school. He traveled there as part of a East Coast United States traveling team. He really enjoyed his trip.
Good luck with the hand quilting. I've been sewing for 52 years, quilting for 7 years, and hand quilting (rather, trying to learn) for two days....needless to say, I'm still practicing.
I don't understand it, because the video is public.
And thank you for the warm welcome.
I tried again and it worked. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome to QCA Loes, We look forward to meeting you and hearing more aboutyour quitls.
